The neighborhood is fresh, well-kept, and is only a couple of exits away from Bellevue and Kirkland, two cities that also deserve honorable mentions.

Bothell is the perfect option for someone who wants to be close to the opportunities and bustling of a flourishing city, but also wants a quiet, small-town vibe as well as something that is family-friendly. This exceptional city also provides some of the most top-tier education in Washington. It is home to the University of Washington Bothell, a smaller and more intimate campus that stems from the Seattle campus. Students from all over King county and Snohomish county come to this amazing school. Not only is there UW, but also Cascadia college and the Northshore school district. No wonder this city attracted 47,000 residents.

Bothell’s downtown is pedestrian- and bike-friendly, and one block of Main Street is now completely car free. An ongoing revitalization plan for its downtown has also resulted in a blossoming of great shopping options as well as an array of dining options for every palette.

McMenamins Anderson School is a former 1930s junior high that was transformed into a multi-use space with a hotel, a movie theater, a large saltwater pool (free for locals) with a surrounding tiki bar, several eateries, and a live music venue. The Bine, a supremely cozy atmosphere, a diverse and extensive draft selection, and some delectable bites. Poquitos, an authentic Mexican restaurant with everything made from local ingredients. Russels, featuring traditional American favorites and is the perfect spot for wine lovers. The list goes on and on!

Not only are there amazing restaurants, but it’s also a place for nature lovers. Long trails and parks surround this evergreen city, providing a nature escape right in your own home. Locals love the Sammamish River Trail, a paved bike corridor that runs from Bothell to Redmond.

Bothell really has it all, from the buzz of a city to the stillness of its peaceful and natural environment. This city is thriving with 3,600 businesses, 400 acres of parkland, and educational opportunities. This well-rounded community and atmosphere is definitely hard to find, which is why this delightful city of Bothell has become home to so many.
